Update: Betty's spleen ruptured due to a grapefruit size tumor. After a few days in the hospital, she is home. Love our little Easter Cone flower.

I post a bit about my solo backpacking pup Betty. I've been down with a double ear infection which caused the worst chest cold and sore throat of my life. I haven't been to work all week so she has been my teddy bear. She deserves a nice adventure when I'm recovered (if I recover 😭) ❤️

Betty is my solo backpacking pup and guardian. Everytime I get turned around on the trail she is digging her claws into the earth trying to go the right direction until I realize she is always right. I have no idea how she knows but it amazes me.
