I received sync files like this, but the original clip doesn't include that part. How did they end up with it extended on the timeline? They don't have the second camera throughout the scene. Maybe they would've mentioned if something major was missing?

When adding an edit, premiere initially selects the previous clip, as expected, for the first few minutes. However, after a few minutes, it starts automatically selecting a clip that is ahead instead of the previous one.
